If you have ever wondered why the skateboarding industry has flourished into a multi-billion empire, maybe this site is for you.
Since skateboarding came to be, there has been a lot of negative press. There have been advertisements for a drug free USA showing the drug users toting around skateboards, and getting into trouble. Movies have used the skateboarding image to portray "dumb" characters and burnouts. These negative images and portrayals of skateboarders are so inaccurate that it makes our culture sick. Most life-time skaters will tell you that skateboarding has actually kept them out of trouble and AWAY from drugs. Use this site as a way to connect with an enormous industry that was created by the people that you portray as "dumb".
If you know a lot about skateboarding, place your knowledge on this site.

Chris Haslam is by far one of the BEST skateboarders in the history of skateboarding. He has technical skills that put him in the same category as Daewon Song and Rodney Mullen. He has a very creative style, and his influences can be seen in young skateboarders worldwide.
Skateboarding has changed so much in the last 10 years. A great example of how much it has changed would be Daewon Song (pictured below). He is an extremely talented skateboarder, and one of the most technical skateboarders to ever touch a board. His main strongpoints are manual tricks, flip tricks, and mini ramps. He dominates pretty much everything he skates. If you haven't seen him, please Google search "Rodney Mullen vs. Daewon Song". It will literally blow your mind. There are several volumes of this crazy competition, so get em all.

Support your local skateshop…
Go down to your local skateshop and buy something. These shops are going out of business because of online skateshops. There is nothing wrong with online skateshops that are owned by skateboarders, but the local shop are the people that keep skateboarding alive. They are the companies that sponsor big contests and small contests. They are the companies that invite the pros to town for skate demos, and they are the places where skateboarders can go hang out to get inspired by a comfy couch or a video room. They need to be supported.
